—–BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE—–
The clearly demonstrated incompetence of AT&T WorldNet in dealing with the
obvious abuse of their Tampa POP by Matt Giwer has convinced me that I
have to do something myself. I am starting to issue automatic NoCeM
messages for all articles in alt.revisionism posted from WorldNet’s Tampa
POP. On the request of the incompetent AT&T WorldNet abuse staff, the
notices will carry the full headers of each individual message. I
apologize for this waste of bandwidth, but I believe that AT&T WorldNet’s
demonstrated ignorance and incompetence makes it necessary. The notices
will be posted to alt.nocem.misc and alt.bonehead.matt-giwer only.
For copious documentation of Mr. Giwer’s abuse of the network through
FidoNet, Combase, Netcom, and AT&T WorldNet, including not only the full
headers but the full text of each and every post sent by Mr. Giwer in the
last six months, please see:
https://nizkor.org/ftp.cgi?people/g/giwer-matt/net-abuse [broken link 1]
This is largely a symbolic move, because so few people have NoCeM clients,
but I don’t believe I have the authority to issue cancels, and at least
it’s something.
If you have a NoCeM client, configure it to accept NoCeM messages issued
by [email protected] signed by the following key.
Later, I may start issuing NoCeM messages for the forger/excessive
crossposter on CRL, who bears a striking resemblance to [email protected].
The notices will bear a @@NCM header rather than a @@alt.revisionism
header because one of the problems here is massive inappropriate forged
crossposts.
No messages will be canceled (by me, anyway). You will miss nothing unless
you have a special client configured especially for this service. For
the NoCeM FAQ, see alt.nocem.misc or http://www.cm.org/faq.html
