Author at Mainelink is not very well informed. There is NO STATUTE
against homicide. Homicide per se is not illegal. Some forms of homicide
ARE illegal, but the illegality of the act of homicide must be proven. If
homicide were illegal then those who act in self-defense could not use
self-defense as their justification for killing their attacker. A blanket
law against homicide would not find favour, either, with the military
establishment or particularly with the CIA, MI5, Mossad, etc.

Author at Mainelink has his head… in the sand, shall we say, if he
thinks that gun control laws take guns away from criminals. Criminals
will *ALWAYS* have guns, don’t you see, because they *ARE* criminals. Gun
control laws only take guns away from law-abiding people so that they
cannot defend themselves if the need should arise.

Go out into the woods, Author at Mainelink, sit on a stump, and think
long and quietly about all this. A passing squirrel may give you the
wisdom you now seem to lack. H. Ayre.

Jim’s rant is scattered all over the landscape. While I would agree that
the Clintons are the target of the conservatives for whatever scurrilous
behaviour could have been attributed to them (Bill and Hillary, that is)
there is a growing hard core of material that is fairly well documented.
And if Roger, Bill’s own brother, speaks of Bill as “having a nose like a
vacuum cleaner” with respect to cocaine, well, I for one believe that
that is more than just smoke.

If it is any comfort to Jim, the Republican side of the equation is just
as flawed, albeit in a somewhat different fashion.

Rant on! H. Ayre.

I’ve just read on a list that Bill Clinton let slip the statement that
there wouldn’t be any election this fall. Does anyone have any
information on this? Was it really said? If so, where and under what
circumstances?

Atlanta, Georgia, is reportedly “swarming with U.N. troops” to provide
security for the Olympic games. It is rumored that a fabricated
“terrorist” incident will be staged there, plenty of blood and loss of
life, of course, and that this theatre-in-the-round will then be the
excuse for a declaration of national martial law… which would
then prevent the election from being held. Question: Those of you lurkers
living in Atlanta, do you notice a concentration of UN troops?

Disclaimer: These are RUMORS as far as I am concerned. However, with all
the bizarre revelations coming forth in the last five years about the
conduct of the government and its members, I don’t hold anything as
impossible. It would be kind of nice, for once, to be ahead of the news,
the real news, that is, not the kind that Dan, Tom, and Peter deal out.

This is nonsense, of course. Anyone with a scrap of sense can make the distinction
between a war involving armies–such as the U.S. Eighth Army versus the Chinese
Communist Army–and a struggle of an essentially civilian population to gain its own
freedom or to maintain its own freedom against a government become tyrannical. If
militias are gangsters then the American Revolutionary War was fought by gangsters
against the legally constituted ruling force, namely the British. And if
revolutionists are gangsters then Israel was founded by gangsters.

Anyone who does a bit of surfing on the web searching for the recent crimes of the
Federal government quickly comes to realize that it is a tyrannical government which
has the capability to kill the innocents and to act in every unlawful manner
possible, not the private militia which must meet the exacting standards of morality
of common people. H. Ayre.

This doesn’t tell the whole story about Deism. Thomas Paine, famous pamphleteer
of the American Revolutionary War credited with crystallizing the revolt against
the British, was a Deist. So were the first three presidents of the United
States. Basically, Deism is a doctrine that states (1) God exists, (2) that no
book can explain God fully, and (3) that each person must find his own
revelation, that no one else can explain God to an individual or “give him God.”
The road toward religious understanding is a solitary one according to Deism.
Thus, Deism is not a religion as such, merely a simple set of guidelines to help
an individual in his quest for his own understanding of God. One of the early,
and most famous, Deists was Francois-Marie Arouet, better known as Voltaire. He
is remembered as a crusader against tyranny, bigotry, and cruelty. H. Ayre.

You are mistaking the point. There is no absolute definition of tyranny. In some
societies, people who have been subject to repressive rule for several generations
would interpret even a slight relaxation of harsh laws as freedom. In this society,
where we have been quite free and think of ourselves as free, we now clearly see
that we are losing some of our freedoms and even that this loss of freedoms is
accelerating. Thus, this country is, in our relative scale of values, becoming
tyrannical.

It is far better to be acutely aware of loss of freedoms and to fight against such
loss of freedoms, than to say, “Ah, well, I am still freer than some other places I
can think of.” To do so would invite an eventual virtual complete loss of freedoms.
And by ‘eventual’ I don’t mean to suggest that such complete loss of freedom would
necessarily be in some far-distant future time. H. Ayre.

You are arguing my case very successfully. The Supreme Court has indeed
reinterpreted the Constitution and Amendments on a number of occasions, giving more
freedom to some groups and less freedom to other groups. This is not a net gain in
freedom, IMHO. On the other hand, all-powerful Federal government agencies can now
quite arbitrarily bankrupt your business, forbid you to plow your land, seize your
home and assets (even if you are completely innocent of any crime), throw you in
jail for vague reasons of politics, and even torture you. Yes all these things have
happened and do happen and happen more frequently now than ever before and have been
amply documented on the web.

You apparently live in a little world of your own making and pleasure. For heaven’s
sake, start browsing the web more fully. Use your search engines. And don’t ask me
to provide documentation for my statements when documentation is at your very
fingertips. H. Ayre.

OH, **YOU** ARE SO CLEVER! There is no “statute prohibiting homicide.” Homicide is
not illegal. Murder is illegal. The difference is in the circumstances involving the
violent death of a human being. That is why we have trials about murder… both real
and on TV. The question is always, Is the homicide that occurred state-sanctioned in
some way? That is why, if you kill someone with your handgun in the middle of the
night, the big question is, was he in your house trying to rob you or rape your wife,
OR WERE YOU IN HIS HOUSE TRYING TO ROB HIM AND RAPE **HIS** WIFE?

(The above speaking about Filegate.)

Why is it that I strongly feel the U.S. Congress will do NOTHING effective about
Filegate? Why is it that I strongly feel that Clinton will ride unmolested above
the waves on this scandal as he has so cleverly with the numerous other scandals
pinned on him? Probably because it is pretty evident to me that Clinton must hold
some powerful offsets against those who would want to impeach him or drum him from
office. And what could those powerful offsets consist of? In my mind Clinton must
have trunkloads of documentation that top-ranking Republicans were up to their
necks in the drug trade from Central and South America. He must have accumulated
this evidence while he was governor of Arkansas and while Mena was in full swing.
In my opinion, Nobody in Congress wants to touch the Mena thing with a hundred-foot
pole because the closet is full of skeletons of both elephants and jackasses.

Look for nothing to happen but another big coverup. H. Ayre.

IS THE GOVERNMENT PLAYING GAMES WITH US ONCE MORE?

The current administration, with the help of the servile mass media, seems
bent on retaining control of the government by being a principle player in
a rapid series of dangerous, even fatal, events which are supposed to show
to us morons out in TV-land just how badly we need this great government.
The latest may be the crash of TWA flight 800. We don’t at this time know
why the 747 blew apart in mid-air and a bomb on board certainly is a
strong possibility. But I hear that one witness claimed it was the result
of a mid-air collision between the 747 and a small plane. Not at all
impossible.

This morning on “Good Morning America” we were advised by a ranking figure
in the FAA to forget the mid-air possibility. It came across my screen
more as an order than as a suggestion. Since the cause of the crash is not
yet known why should we little people out in TV-land be ordered to forget
one possible cause of the tragedy? Why should we ONLY consider the
terrorist angle?

Well, think of what the government wants, namely to retain power, to
tighten its grip on power, even to go into a dictatorship mode. A major
terrorist incident will help it do this, will help the passage of even
more repressive and restrictive legislation by the sand-heads we have as
congresspeople in Washington, D.C.

On the other hand, if the 747 went down as the result of a mid-air
collision it would only highlight the fact that FAA equipment, in many
cases, is obsolete and has been for more than a decade. It would only
point out that this government, which wants us in the hinterlands to see
as really great, has thrown money around (mostly abroad) like it was going
out of style but hasn’t spent a dime modernizing the air traffic control
system so that we Americans can travel in safety.

Could a mid-air collision have occurred without being detected on radar?
Well, was the radar functioning correctly during that one minute of
eternity? Doesn’t this terribly old equipment have hiccups every so often?
And was the air traffic controller alert at that moment?

So you can see, with the government in control of all the evidence, it can
tell us whatever story will best suit its purpose. Don’t expect the truth

The one salient fact in this case of Flight 800 is that the pilot did not have time
to issue a Mayday call. (At least, no one heard such a call and it must be assumed
that none was made.) In other words, those in the cockpit were apparently killed
immediately, OR the radio gear was rendered useless all at once. The problem with the
missile theory is that these weapons usually seek the source of heat, in other words
the jet engines, not the pilots’ area. If a single missile hit an engine it would do
heavy damaage to the aircraft, probably make it unflyable, but it would not knock out
the radio equipment. There would have been time to send out a Mayday call.

An interesting fact came out on “Nightline” last night (Friday). The flight was
designated “Flight 800 Heavy Lifeguard.” The word “heavy” designated that it was a
jumbo jet, and the words “life guard” signify that it was carrying a human organ for
transplant and should be given priority for taxiing and takeoff to expedite the trip.

Apparently, such containers with human parts are routinely placed in the pilots
compartment and are not subject to normal security checks. If such a container had in
it a powerful bomb, then the circumstances of the mid-air explosion without Mayday
call would be explained. At present this seems to be the only theory that fits the
circumstances without a serious flaw. H. Ayre.

I heard that there were some sort of military maneuvers going on when Flight 800
went down. It occurred to me when I heard this that the 747 could have gone down
under “friendly fire.” But the operation of a missile would result in an engine
being hit, not the pilots’ compartment. See my other post on the subject. H. Ayre.

“Matital law?” What in heaven’s name is “matital law?” I think what was
meant was “marital law,” in other words conjugal law, domination by the
old bat so to speak. Be careful when complaining about the spelling of

In fact, the Internet talk now seems to be turning toward a missile
strike, even the possibility of “friendly fire” from naval units. It is
evident that the government wants to blame it on a bomb since that
scenario will evoke maximum Old Testament rage and “eye for an eye”
retaliation against the putative terrorists. Also, the government
doubtless feels that a bomb will be seen by the public as a threat that
can be dealt with by further airport security measures.

On the other hand, the thought that the explosion and crash could have
been caused by a stinger missile is much more harrowing since such a
missile could be fired from the ground anywhere miles around an airport.

And the thought that TWA Flight 800 could have been brought down by our
own gallant lads is something that probably would cost Clinton the
election, so it won’t be voiced. If the physical evidence were to point
in this direction it certainly will be hushed up. H. Ayre.

altitude of 10,000 feet.

Another post to the Flight-800 list gives the maximum range as 4
kilometres which is 2 1/2 miles or 13,200 feet. However, stingers are now
being made by the Chinese which undoubtedly have an impproved range. By
firing vertically with a forward leading it was described in a post that
the shot would be possible. The government doesn’t care for this scenario
and it is unlikely that it will become the official “line.” H. Ayre.

Wow! Now that really IS world class gullibility! Rush Limbaugh TELL THE TRUTH!!! No,
of course not, nobody, but NOBODY, is allowed to do that on a national hookup, you
should know that. Rush will tell his own particular version of the truth, leaving out,
of course, such juicy morsels as Mena, Vince Foster, Bushes invasion into Pananma to
wipe out traces of government drug running, and so on ad infinitum, ad nauseum.

And of course Rush will toe the line on the official version of what brought down TWA
Flight 800. So don’t look for anything different from Rush on the news as opposed to
Rush on his own program. Rush is cast in stone, unchangeable. H. Ayre.

This long, well-prepared article on the subject of terrorism and Saddam
Hussein is obviously the work of “our best ally” in the Middle East,
which best ally wants to stir up the American people once more to do more
killing of Israel’s enemies. Unfortunately, a good percentage of the
Desert Storm troops are not able to fight, they are sick (but not the
French troops which participated in Desert Storm) and dying.

Rather than to perpetuate these endless rounds of violence and killing at
the great expense of the American public, I suggest we as a nation adopt
a perfectly neutral and hands-off attitude when it comes to these
fratricidal feuds in the Middle East and elsewhere. Let’s let Israel
handle its own wars. It seems always to have all the answers to other
people’s problems… now let’s let it find and implement its
own solutions to its own problems. We here in the U.S. will watch the
whole thing on TV and cheer for whatever side we choose. H. Ayre.

This is a great idea! This would test both the positive and negative
reactions of the voters to each candidate. Obviously, a candidate must
get more positive than negative even to be considered, and more
percentage positive than negative to win. This would be a REAL election,
not a sterile exercise to put the stamp of legitimacy on some crook who
wants to pillage the public officially. H. Ayre.

No! Your arithmetic is as faulty as your spelling. 400,000 is ten times
greater than you state, namely .86956% or .87% rounded off. This is the
principal part of 1%. Thus one in 100 smokers will probably die EACH

No! Your arithmetic is as faulty as your spelling. 400,000 is ten times
greater than you state, namely .86956% or .87% rounded off. This is the
principal part of 1%. Thus one in 100 smokers will probably die EACH
year. Sort of a Russian roulette pasttime in my opinion. H. Ayre.

Well, exactly what a number of “conspiracy nuts” have predicted has now happened.
Several hours ago a fairly powerful explosion occurred in the main park, one confirmed
dead and as many as 150 injured. The FBI has just published a report that an
“explosive device” was responsible for the blast. It was first thought that it could
have been an overloaded transformer exploding.

With security at the Olympics at such a high level already, this event seems to
confirm the public’s suspicion that it really is impossible to prevent a determined
bomber. But, cyberpeople, brace yourselves for further inroads on basic human
liberties and rights at the hands of the present administration, all ostensibly in
reaction to the bombing of the Olympics. (In fact, the move toward a Big
Brother Bill dictatorship has been in the works for a decade or more.)

What is the worst case scenario that can happen? Probably martial law leading to a
cancellation of the November elections. People who complain that Dole does not seem to
be conducting a very energetic campaign may try on the theory that Dole already knows
there will be no election… so why try?

Naturally, this explosive event will be blamed on the Arabs and muslim fanatics. It
could just as well be the work of the BATF which has a presence at the Olympic
Village, of one of the Central American drug cartels, of the Israeli secret service
(the Mossad), of the Serbs in whose affairs we are meddling, etc., etc.

More security is not the answer. A strict neutrality on the part of the U. S.
government vis-a-vis other nations IS the answer. Stop ALL foreign aid. And we simply
must stop killing thousands and hundreds of thousands and, yes, millions of citizens
of other regions and nations thinking that such behaviour is somehow “all right”
because we are a “moral nation” and, in any case, a superpower.

H. Ayre.

Yes, of course the demo’s would coverup something like that if they
could. The public is unable to remember very far back and they will blame
the incumbent president for whatever happens on his watch. Period. As far
as we know at the moment it is not known if Flight 800 went down due to a
bomb or a missile. Strangely enough, a bomb now seems almost benign. H.

Possibly you are right. (Making it possible you are wrong.) It is
possible that this year’s election (if it is held, that is) will prove to
be matter of very late mind-changing. The enormous amount of evidence
against Bill concerning all sorts of criminal acts doesn’t seem to stick
right now, but I suspect that late in the day, say mid-October, it will
suddenly bury him in the public mind. What I find fascinating is his
brother’s remark that “Bill has a nose like a vacuum cleaner” when it
comes to snorting lines of cocaine.

Have a good day. H. Ayre.

Obviously, with a nut case like the above at the keyboard of a computer,
it is urgent that every third class nation on the planet have at least a
half dozen nuclear weapons ready to use. As the saying goes, “an armed
society is a polite society.” I would much prefer such enforced
politeness to unchaining a mad dog superpower such as the CIA and U.S.
military. H. Ayre.

You are a person whose emotional desire for a politically and socially ecumenical
planet outweighs your ability to observe what is now and the processes of how it
became to be thus now, as well as what was in the past and how it must have become
thus in the past.

Nigeria is a perfect example of what Harry speaks of. Nigeria has oil wealth. It is
a black nation. Thus it has enough money to be whatever type of country it wishes to
be. It could have a stable progressive political system, paved streets, medical
clinics, etc. In truth it is an oppressive military dictatorship with potholes in
the streets. The people of Nigeria could have an educational system second to none
if they so chose. They don’t.

Saudi Arabia is another country with oil wealth. It is a repressive monarchy. But it
does have universities where learning is valued, it does have modern medical
clinics, etc.

Japan, on the other hand, has virtually no necessary raw materials. It must import
nearly all of what is needed. But the Japanese people have a very strong sense of
self-identification and mutual support, and an *exceptionally* strong desire to
become not just well-educated, but educated up to and even beyond the cutting edge
of knowledge.

What I have noted is that it seems as if blacks often don’t like and respect and
trust other blacks, whereas this is much less true in other races. Without some
measure of racial and cultural cohesion individuals become merely fodder for the
greed of politicians and large corporations, and for the moral decay of those groups
involved in the drug and pornography “industries.” H. Ayre.

> What truths are that. The ones where you shove babies into ovens

My heavens! Did Harry Peterson really do that? Did he really shove babies into ovens
because of their religion? Were they his own babies? How many babies did he shove
into ovens (assuming for the moment that he shoved one or more babies into ovens)?
What kind of oven did Harry shove these babies into? What was the setting of the
thermostat of the oven when Harry shoved the babies into the oven? What was the
religion of these babies at the time they were shoved into the oven (or ovens?) by
Harry? Were they all of the same religion or was there a diversity of religions
represented? Had the babies professed their religion spontaneously and
independently, or was it merely assumed that they were of a certain religion because
their parents were of that religion. Were the babies given a free choice of religion
or were they thus forced to belong to a certain religion prior to being shoved into
the oven by Harry? The questions continue in my mind about this dastardly act of
Harry Peterson shoving babies into oven(s)… unless it is untrue. Then the
questions must begin concerning the person who CLAIMED that Harry Peterson shoved
babies into oven(s). H. Ayre.

Really, who knows *who* is giving the drug tests, if they are being administered
correctly, if the results of those test–if administered fairly–have been honestly
reported, and etc? The entire chain of events in “testing the Whitehouse for drugs”
is so open to manipulation and fraud that it’s a wonder to me that these “tests” and
their “results” can be talked about seriously.

Clinton has lived his life–and lives his life now–amongst a drug-using cadre of
people. Read, for instance, COMPROMISED: by Terry Reed and John Cummins. Search the
net. The stories and documentation is everywhere. Even Bill’s own brother, Roger,
has said that Bill “has a nose like a vacuum cleaner” when it somes to inhaling a
line of cocaine. Talk of drug testing the Whitehouse staff is simply nonsense. H.
Ayre.

thus in the past.

H. Ayre.

I find this is very interesting post that should open up the
investigation to new possibilities. If Fight 800 was shot down by a
missile, and if the terrorists shot down the wrong plane, then that would
explain why no one had “taken credit” for the act. H. Ayre.

My candidate for that position is the international monetary system (and
the entwined monetary system of each country) since the whole thing is a
planet-wide Ponzi scheme that expands exponentially and is getting very
shaky. H. Ayre.

The Pentagon will do everything in its power to prevent the Gulf War
veterans from learning that they are sick due to the forced dosage of
experimental drugs they were given. Read the report enclosed for
clarification. Why do the French troops NOT have Gulf War Syndrome? Easy!
They refused to take the untested drug cocktail foisted on the British
and American troops. H.Ayre.

Do French vets have Gulf War Syndome?*

BLAZING TATTLES exclusive: 1995 — Oh what a year it was!
THE GULF WAR SYNDROME
By Joe Vialls
Carine, Australia (January 6, 1996). During late 1995,
devastating new evidence on Gulf War Syndrome was released,
providing strong scientific support for those who have long
suspected the Gulf veterans are suffering short and long term
effects of unproven anti-bacteriological warfare inoculations and
anti-nerve gas tablets, forcibly administered by U.S. Army doctors
in Saudi Arabia.
With thousands of U.S. veterans suffering from Gulf War
Syndrome, it came as no surprise to learn in October that several
hundred British veterans were suffering in the same way, with three
to five new cases being reported every week. Like their U.S.
counterparts, most were puzzled by the origins of the disease,
which they initially attributed to exposure to oil-laden smoke in
Kuwait, toxic dust from depleted uranium rounds fired by U.S.
weapons, and possible contamination from expended Iraqi chemical
shells in the area, fired before the Gulf War commenced.
In a startling break with tradition, on British military
doctor stated that in her view, 99% of the problems could be
sourced back to the anti-bacteriological warfare “cocktail”
inoculations, and anti-nerve gas tablets forcibly administered to
military personnel in the Gulf region at that time. In an October
1995 broadcast of the ITN TV World News from London, she further
explained that all British military personnel had been provided
with the same un-trialled and unproven drugs as the Americans, from
the U.S. medical sources. To reinforce the point she was making,
the doctor explained that the number of British personnel suffering
symptoms correlated exactly on a per capita basis with the
Americans. It was a controversial claim, but apparently lacking in
substance.
Shattering confirmation of her claim came eleven hours later
when Australian Channel 10 television carried exactly the same
story at 5 p.m., but with an extra piece tagged onto the end. The
extra piece claimed that French military personnel in the Gulf
region, numbering about the same as the British contingent, had
been prevented from taking the “cocktails” and tablets on the
direct order of the French Commander-in-Chief. The story continued
that since the end of the Gulf War, not a single member of the
French military has suffered from Gulf War Syndrome or reported any
of its known symptoms. By 6 p.m. the same night, when the other
Australian television networks ran their news broadcasts, the awe-
some story with its stunning implications had vanished from sight
and was not run by any other Australian TV network. Nor was it
reported in the Australian newspapers.
For any scientist or veteran, the fact that the French should
be completely clear of Gulf War Syndrome while the Americans and
British during 1991, has huge and potentially horrifying
implications. After all, the French at the same food, drank the
same water, breathed the same air and trudged through hundreds of
miles of the same desert. They also fired much the same weapons at
much the same targets. So what were the additional environmental
variables which made the French unique in their ability to
completely withstand the deadly Gulf War Syndrome? The truth is
there were none at all, save for the experimental American
“cocktail” inoculations and tablets.
To attempt to confirm this very short-lived story, the author
contacted the French Military Attache in Australia and inquired if
it was correct that the French Commander-in-Chief forbade his own
personnel the untested substances. The Military Attache was happy
to confirm this, and further confirmed that not one French soldier
or airman has suffered since the end of the Gulf War. It seemed to
be a subject of which he was very proud, and rightly so. Perhaps
it is time for U.S. and British veterans to confirm the same points
with their local French consulates, before taking a very hefty
legal swing at their own governments.
