A Study of the Cyanide Compounds Content
in the Walls of the Gas Chambers
in the Former Auschwitz & Birkenau Concentration Camps

Methodology: Part III

The following experiment illustrated to what extent water elutes cyanide ions. Two 0.5-gram plaster samples, previously subjected to a fumigation with hydrogen cyanide (after the determination of cyanide combinations in them) were placed on filter paper in glass funnels and either of them was flushed with 1l of clean, deionized distilled water. The results of the test are presented in Table VII.
