The Nizkor Project: Remembering the Holocaust (Shoah)

The NSWPP on Revisionism

"The real purpose of Holocaust revisionism is to make National Socialism an acceptable political alternative again."

Harold Covington,
leader of the National Socialist White Peoples Party,

One of the most common questions Nizkor gets asked is, Why? Why do the "revisionists" deny the Holocaust?

There is no single answer to this question, because the motives of the Holocaust-deniers differ to some extent. But the most important answer is not in doubt: Denial is the greatest tool that Nazis have in whitewashing the image of Adolf Hitler and thus paving the way for a second Holocaust.

Our shorthand slogan for this is "the Holocaust never happened, and it should happen again." Black humor, but we're only part-joking.

Many people are skeptical when we say this. The redemption of Hitler, of all people? The establishment of a Fourth Reich? It seems too preposterous to be true.

But we invite the skeptical reader to spend some time mulling over the words of Harold Covington, also known as Winston Smith, the leader of the National Socialist White Peoples Party, formerly the American Nazi Party. His own words, written for his comrades in the movement, are more convincing than any explanations Nizkor could ever make.
