MANNHEIM, Germany, Nov. 14th. (Reuters) -- A leader of the far-rightist
National Democratic Party was given a suspended one-year sentence and fined
$6,000 on Friday on charges of denigrating Nazi Holocaust victims and
inciting racial hatred. Gu"nter Deckert, 52 years old, was convicted of
organizing a speech last year by Fred Leuchter, builder of electric chairs
and other execution devices, who contends the number of people killed in the
Holocaust has been exagerated.  ==30==
