White Supremacy Flyers Distributed in Idaho Falls, Idaho
(4/15/94) The Idaho Falls Post Register reports that a
previously unknown local group distributed flyers seeking
recruits for a white supremacy organization in Idaho Falls, ID.
Area residents contacted police and the postmaster after fliers
listing an Idaho Falls post office box address were distributed
in residential parts of the city Wednesday night.
Ttitled "A Challenge to White People," the flier listed a
series of alleged grievances white people have against minorities
including affirmative action, immigration policies, school
integration, and support by foundations for minorities. The
flyer refers to the White Arayan Resistance, which previously has
been known to be active in Portland, OR. The flyer called on
people who agreed with its position to contact the group at an
Idaho Falls post office box address. No name or phone number was
listed on the flyer.
Last Janaury hate group flyers were distributed in
Pocatello, ID, some 50 miles to the south, on Martin Luther
King's birthday observance. However, these do not appear to be
the work of the same group.
