A-2 Alberta appeals Keegstra ruling The Canadian Press Edmonton Alberta is appealing a ruling on convincted hate-mongerer Jim Keegstra to the Supreme Court of Canada, Justice Minister Ken Rostad said today. The government is sending the case to the highest court on a legal technicality. The Alberta Court of Appeal ruled earlier this month that a second conviction against Keegstra for promoting hatred against Jews should be overturned. Keegstra was fired from teaching for telling his students the Nazi Holocaust that killed six million Jews in the Second World War was a hoax.
