Indeed. Consider the following... Mr. "Grosvenor" publishes an
article from time to time which denegrates Certified General
Accountants here in Canada, and ridicules their professional
training program.

The article further makes undocumented claims about several
individuals he identifies as CGA's.

That, however, is not the issue. The issue is Mr. Grosvenor's
intregrity, as he claims to be a CGA himself. That being the
case, I thought it would be interesting to examine the Code of
Ethics and Rules of Professional Conduct which govern the
professional behavior of CGAs in Canada..

If Mr. Grosvenor is, as he claims to be, a CGA, then he is,
quite clearly, in breach of his Association's code of conduct,
i.e. he has no professional integrity.

If Mr. Grosvenor is not the CGA he claims to be, he has no
personal _or_ professional integrity, but is the simple liar
he appears to be here on the net.

Take your pick.

Duties to the profession

401 CONDUCT

	Shall always be mindful of the duties and
responsibilities associated with being a member of the
profession, and shall carry on work with fidelity to clients
or employers and loyalty to the Association, in a manner which
will enhance the image of the profession.
