> Tom Metzger, a 54-year-old television repairman from Fallbrook,

He's also "affiliated" with the Nation of Islam.

Yet, they were never even charged with a crime, they were
"convicted" by a purely civil court by reason of "provocation."

Neither were the Metzgers. Do you even know the difference
between a civil and criminal trial, the different standards
of proof required by the court?

Mazzella wasn't sued because he offered to be a stukach for
the plaintiffs; if it had been a criminal trial Mazzella
would have most certainly been charged as he was more guilty
of provocation than the Metzgers.

The Metzgers trial is an ill omen for the militia movement;
nothing that the Metzgers did was in any way legally different
than what militias do.
