Matt Giwer has taken to complaining that "holohuggers" (people he doesn't agree with) are "complaining to root." However, the evidence he has collected doesn't, er, contain any email sent to his root. This is another case where one has to wonder if this is a troll, or just stupidity. By the way, Mr. Giwer has complained to _my_ ISP's root about my (accidentally) sending him two copies of an email. Doesn't bother me particularly, but it seems apropos: http://www.almanac.bc.ca/cgi-bin/ftp.pl?people/g/giwer.matt/email-voyager-root Anyway, below are the articles where Mr. Giwer reproduces the emails which he _says_ were sent to firstname.lastname@example.org, but which, er, weren't... - Jamie McCarthy (email@example.com), June 21st, 1996 Path: news.voyager.net!aanews.merit.net!imci3!newsfeed.internetmci.com!newsxfer2.itd.umich.edu!netnews.worldnet.att.net!ix.netcom.com!news From: firstname.lastname@example.org Newsgroups: alt.revisionism Subject: a surprise Date: Fri, 21 Jun 1996 09:34:48 GMT Organization: images incarnate Lines: 135 Message-ID: <email@example.com> NNTP-Posting-Host: tam-fl2-12.ix.netcom.com X-NETCOM-Date: Fri Jun 21 2:36:46 AM PDT 1996 X-Newsreader: Forte Free Agent 1.0.82 Amazing here. After having their "declaration of submission" thrown back in their face the holohuggers have decided to resort to complaints to ROOT. I have gotten my third in the last six hours, of course with a CC to me as a threat. The only thing they have not made pubic yet is the strategy session they indulged in. For example here is the first and only email from OBC himself which arrived as I was creating this message, ===== Return-Path:
