Dear Lu, Forgive me for saying that this is a bit incoherent. The 
unsupported statement that there will never be gun sweeps in this country 
is an unsupported personal opinion, not a statement of fact. Someone else 
may feel that we will experience a Federal gun grab. That also would be 
an opinion. One can only judge which is closer to the mark by observing 
the recent flow of opinions and legislation. 

And by the "oozie type weapons" I think you mean the Uzi machine pistol 
manufactured by peaceloving Israel, weapons of this sort, rapid fire 
without too much accuracy. (Kill 'em with pounds of lead, not a clean 
shot to the heart!) True enough, it is a military weapon. But what if the

That's a moot question, Clinton's possible involvement in all those 
deaths. But no one can *prove* that he DIDN'T have some involvement in 
some of them... or all of them. This is a speculative subject and one 
must consider in his mind a whole lot of peripheral material before

I have read a very interesting account of what you call "check forging"

Reserve notes we use every day. Valid and uncontested liens have been 
levied against individuals and corporations for various offenses (whether

these liens are pledged as collateral for the drafts issued. There is a 
certain amount of learned opinion that all this has been done according 
to the laws of the land and that the drafts are as legal as any other

neat use of the "voice from the sky" passive tense, "(it) 'has been' 
exhaustively debunked..." As if to say that some disincarnate, eternal, 
and omnipotent Being had decided from on high that there is no truth at 
all to the kosher tax, and that all reasonable people have been aware of 
that fact for, well, just ages. 

The kosher food scam is over 100 years old and going strong. But not in 
France, nor elsewhere in Europe to my knowledge. Americans are, after 
all, the most gullible people in the world, easily conned, who will 
believe any statement at all if it is pronounced in grave tones on TV. 

But really, does anyone willing to think about it a bit believe that the 
kosher inspection is done for FREE? Or that the food manufacturer will 
NOT pass this cost, however slight, onto the back of the consumer?

Tonight on CBS news the big story informed Mr. & Mrs. Dumbkopf America 
that rampant racism against Blacks is torching the Black churches in the 
South. Like a 900-volt jolt of instant knowledge I just knew that the 
glib news announcer was lying. (A pretty safe bet nowadays in any case.) 
The arson isn't coming from racism among private citizens, it's coming 
via a domestic psy-op in which the CIA and the FBI probably share 
responsibility. Americans of all colors, just average people, are 
beginning to feel that they are the prey of the Federal wolves, and they 
are beginning to work hand-in-hand to share news and opinions. This 
begins to cut out the dominance and influence of the mass media, the 
talking heads of Dan, Peter, Tom, et al. And the mass media IS the gov't, 
after all, the most visible part of it.

So we must ask ourselves, if the Oklahoma City bombing was a BATF sting 
operation gone wrong, and if the FBI educated the Arabs in the 
intricacies of bomb-making for the Trade Center caper, do we now have 
a spate of Black church burning sponsored by some government 
agencies specifically to create divisions once again among Americans?

Concerning the national debt, it has come about due principally to the 
pie-in-the-sky monetary system (which is nothing more than a global Ponzi 
scheme) which permitted the endless creation of debt on the say-so of a

It has repeatedly been said by liberals that the death penalty has no 
effect on crime. I opine that this is because it has lately been 
administered in such an antiseptic way, with worries about the 
condemned suffering for a few seconds, and at any rate all concluded 
behind closed walls and doors.

If the state is going to execute a criminal for his crimes against the 
functioning of society and its peaceful members, that execution should be 
public. It should be a horrible execution, one that strikes fear into the 
hearts of potential criminals. The guillotine used in a public square 
would certainly qualify as a proper execution. 

In today's world scalpers might sell tickets to the execution and major 
corporations drape their logos from adjacent buildings. So much the 
better! Obviously, if properly managed an execution would cost the state 
nothing at all, even show a profit.

And I kid you not, potential murderers and rapists would most certainly 
revise their thoughts.  H. Ayre.

My personal experience with William Cooper has convinced me that he has 
little control over either his temper or his ideas. He has created a 
world of his own self-importance, and that world is not very well 
respected by a growing number of intelligent people. Mr. Cooper has all 
the makings of a petty tyrant, IMHO. Each such person has a few charming

I note someone has claimed that Spam is not part of the kosher food game. 
Spam has pork in it. Wouldn't it be a riot if some Rabbi approved Spam as 
a kosher food? In fact, one unnamed Rabbi did something similar in 
approving a certain brand of lard (pork fat) as kosher! He desperately 
wanted the fee that came with each approval. Shortly thereafter, the 
approval was yanked by Jewish authorities in the hierarchy who 
(ruefully?) saw that such a kosher approval would expose the whole scam

It has repeatedly been said by liberals that the death penalty has no 
effect on crime. I opine that this is because it has lately been 
administered in such an antiseptic way, with worries about the 
condemned suffering for a few seconds, and at any rate all concluded 
behind closed walls and doors.

If the state is going to execute a criminal for his crimes against the 
functioning of society and its peaceful members, that execution should be 
public. It should be a horrible execution, one that strikes fear into the 
hearts of potential criminals. The guillotine used in a public square 
would certainly qualify as a proper execution. 

In today's world scalpers might sell tickets to the execution and major 
corporations drape their logos from adjacent buildings. So much the 
better! Obviously, if properly managed an execution would cost the state 
nothing at all, even show a profit.

And I kid you not, potential murderers and rapists would most certainly 
revise their thoughts.  H. Ayre.

The solution is clear. We must embark on a program of mass amputation of 
all trigger fingers. Price 'em at $10,000 apiece for adults, $1,000 for 
those of the newborn (smaller fingers). The result will be an immediate

Obviously those who think that guns end lives have not thought far 
enough. A gun is an inanimate object quite incapable of volition. The 
same is true of a round of ammunition. I have a loaded gun sitting 
quietly in a drawer. It has never killed anyone and I expect that it 
never will... unaided, that is.

So what is it REALLY that kills people, speaking of guns, of course, 
since there exist a number of other deadly weapons? Why it is the trigger 
finger on the hand of the assailant that kills people, of course, why 
anyone can see that!

The solution is clear. We must embark on a program of mass amputation of 
all trigger fingers. Price 'em at $10,000 apiece for adults, $1,000 for 
those of the newborn (smaller fingers). The result will be an immediate 
reduction in gun related deaths.  H. Ayre.

It seems to me that Larry is a bit hypercritical about the very 
non-mechanical job of an investigative reporter. Why hasn't this 
happened, why hasn't that prediction come true yet, etc? And these 
questions are then translated into doubts that the story is true in the 
first place.

One ALWAYS must have a few doubts about ANY story of events in high 
places, it is a matter of perceived probabilities, not of being "right"or 
being "wrong," or of absolute knowledge of the affair or total rejection 
of the story. There are lots of twists and turns in the world of real 
events that cannot be known and which make things happen a bit (or a lot) 
differently from what was expected.

In my own perception of probabilities, I find the James Norman thesis 
entirely plausible and I can imagine all sorts of things that prevent 
instant verification of the details he has stated. Not the least of these 
is the ever-real chance that many people fear for their lives if they say

This is the big news on the TV news tonight as I type. Why is it that I 
smell a scam of mega-proportions? Maybe it's because I doubt that we have 
this much racism against Blacks in America. Perhaps it is because I have 
become aware over the years of the actions of the FBI and other Federal 
agencies against certain minorities. Perhaps it is because I really don't 
believe any longer in the essential goodness of Big Brother in 
Washington, D.C., nor in the essential truthfulness of Dan and Peter and 
Tom & Co.

To a corrupt government the most frightening prospect is an aroused 
people, the people as a whole group, aroused AGAINST that central 
government. Thus, it becomes necessary for the central government to keep 
the people divided against themselves, in a constant and meaningless 
internecine warfare that goes nowhere and destroys their ability to act 
in unison.

So, IMHO, the probability strongly exists that all those Black churches 
burning are the product of a black operation by the CIA, the FBI, the 
BATF, or some other criminal Federal agency. Some unelected think 
tank of gurus ("Super Big Brothers") has given secret 
not-to-be-questioned orders to break up the growing unity of opinion on 
the part of most Americans concerning the central government. 

And, of course, what could now be more appropriate than to have the FBI 
investigate these 32 cases of arson on Black churches?  H. Ayre.

To Braun, Einstein, et al: Joseph Sobran, nationally syndicated

for me I hate no one, hate is an exhausting and bitter corrosive. I seek 
reason and truth. Reason and Truth compell me to think that the kosher 
food tax is an imposition on the multitude by a very clever minority. It

Nothing of any use to most people is added to the food by kosher 
inspection. It is most certainly a scam. The argument that it costs each 
shopper virtually nothing is illusory. It obviously DOES cost the shopper 
**something** nomatter how slight. When a mosquito alights on my arm 
intent to take a tiny drop of blood which I will not miss I nevertheless

I question the statistics that "prove" that public executions do not 
deter crime. These statistics are usually compiled by groups who are 
opposed to capital punishment in the first place. And the fact that 
pickpockets in ancient England used the occasion of the public hanging of 
pickpockets to ply their trade is hardly a quantitative and comparative 
study. It takes hardly any imagination at all for any normal individual 
to realize that the prospect of a horrible public death would most 
certainly deter some (but not, of course, all) people from committing

According to the Big Three Big Brother News, the arson of black 
churches has been going on for a year and a half. It isn't a phenomenon 
of the last two weeks. It's just that now the Federal government and the 
TV Moguls have decided to forcefeed this well-developed situation to the 
American public. If this 75 week wave of arson is a deliberate plan of 
the CIA or FBI or BATF, I would assume its purpose is to divide the 
American public against itself. A tyrannical government fears most a 
public consensus against its power. (Note how such broad public agreement 
finally toppled the communist states.) 

If this above conjecture is true, black ministers and preachers should 
take many photographs of their churches while they are still standing. As 
in other well-documented cases, the Federal crime enforcement agencies 
may have to investigate themselves, something they really don't do very

BOOKS TO TURN YOUR HEAD!

It has been my intention for some time to post a series of book 
recommendations, not more than two dozen in number, these being books 
which have had, for me, the effect of "turning my head," creating a sort 
of dog-leg in my thoughts on the subject discussed. Thus I entitle this 
series "Books to Turn Your Head." I recommend these books to browsers and 
lurkers without having, however, the slightest assurance whether anyone of 
these books will have a similar effect on some other reader.

Each of these books is on a different subject, sometimes having a certain 
subject overlap with another book in the series, but more often 
not. What ties these books together, however loosely, is the fact that 
each has been subjected to some degree of conspiratorial censorship 
because each has within its pages revised the common, popular, academic, 
or orthodox view on the subject discussed. For these reasons of 
conspiracy, censorship, and revisionism I post the series to these three 
alt. groups.

BOOKS TO TURN YOUR HEAD  #1

	THE BIG BANG NEVER HAPPENED by Eric Lerner, Times Books (A 
division of Random House), 1991, 466 pages including index, appendix, and 
bibliography (arranged by chapters).

	Virtually the entirety of official, vocal and public accademia 
subscribes to the Big Bang theory of the creation of the universe. With 
such unanimity one would suppose that the theory really isn't a theory any 
longer, that it is proven beyond doubt, and that any remaining doubters 
must be cast rudely in the role of lunatics and clowns. It will come as 
something of a shock to the reader to learn that the theory has grave 
difficulties, philosophic, scientific, and empirical. To "save" the theory 
(and why save it, shouldn't it save ITSELF?) it has been necessary to make 
a series of assumptions (example, "black matter") which just haven't panned 
out.

	Meanwhile, another theory, that of the "plasma universe," a

different view of the universe, less suitable for a Hollywood production 
than the Big Bang, but one that doesn't suffer from the serious question 
marks of the Big Bang either. The plasma universe is not inspired by the 
Old Testament, rather by the acceptance that infinity is ultimately 
unknowable... but nevertheless locally understandable.

	Most interesting is Lerner's retracement of scientific thought 
down through the centuries, pointing out that the Big Bang theory is to a 
great extent a religious statement rather than a clearly-grasped 
scientific revelation.

	The reader of this book should have a good general background in 
science. It is, however, much more easily read than "The Emperor's New 
Mind" by Penrose, for instance.

research work. The Internet offers many search engines and huge

It would appear that Alvin has not taken the time to read carefully 
COMPROMISED:Clinton, Bush, and the CIA by Terry Reed and John Cummings (a 
best seller, S.P.I. Books, New York City, 1994, ISBN 1-56171-249-3). I 
have read this book (along with hundreds of others on recent history) and 
I find a very great difference between Clinton and Reed, to wit: Reed has 
made completely clear what he was involved in AND why he quit as an asset 
of the CIA and what quitting cost him. Reed was completely exonerated 
(with prejudice against his accusers), then filed suit against the two 
men who framed him. This suit was dropped when the judge would not allow 
Reed to bring forth witnesses and evidence on the entire Mena affair. 
Technically and legalistically it can well be said that Reed won that 
suit by government default. The government has, in effect, pleaded nolo 
contendere, no contest.

On the other hand, Clinton has been caught in one lie after another
concerning not only Mena but just about everything else he has played a 
part in. And, for kickers, he has been characterized by someone close to 
him as having "a nose like a vacuum cleaner" for cocaine. Some anecdotal 
evidence, having become widespread enough, is accepted for fact. H. Ayre.

This is the second in a series of commentaries on books that I have found 
to be super-informative. All share the dubious distinction of having been, 
in some way or another, targets of conspiratorial censorship because they 
strongly tend to revise the "common wisdom" on a subject of general 
interest.

BOOKS TO TURN YOUR HEAD, #2

THE POLITICS OF HEROIN: CIA Complicity in the Global Drug Trade, by Alfred 
W. McCoy, Lawrence Hill Books (reprinted by arrangement with Harper & Row, 
Publishers, NYC), 1991, ISBN 1-55652-125-1 (paperback), 634 pages including 
notes, bibliography, and index.

"Alfred W. McCoy is professor of Southeastern Asian History at the 
University of Wisconsin-Madison..." So reads the very last page of this 
book. He is also one very expert researcher on his subject. We average 
citizens tend to gasp a bit when someone claims that the CIA is bringing 
hard drugs into the U.S. It seems to be beyond belief that something like 
this could happen. McCoy, however, develops the world history of drug use 
>from  as early as 400 B.C. forward and into modern times. This historical 
approach gives the reader a clear idea of the trends: from simple 
beginnings the drug trade has become, in the last two centuries, so 
enormously lucrative that it simply cannot be ignored by governments as a 
source of revenue. What was before open government involvement in the drug 
trade (sales to OTHER nations, as evidenced, for example, in the two Opium 
Wars, Britain versus China), has now become a clandestine government 
involvement via criminal organizations, including intelligence 
organizations. Prof. McCoy points out that the spy agencies of major 
nations find much common ground with the criminal organizations in the 
countries where covert operations are intended. 

While McCoy does not go so far as to claim active importation of drugs into 
the United States by the CIA itself, he does point to the many instances 
where CIA **complicity** with the drug trade, particularly the opium and 
heroin trade in Southeast Asia, is fully documented. The reader must decide 
for himself whether some element of the CIA, to cover financial shortfalls 
occurring in very expensive secret operations, would take the final step 
and fully enter into the drug trade.

This is an exceptionally well-documented book, actually a much-expanded 
second edition. The first edition (1972) displeased the CIA and they 
attempted unsuccessfully to suppress its publication.  H. Ayre.
