"There's no business like Shoah business," is, according to
Argentine-Jewish newspaper publisher Jacob Timmerman, a common cynical
utterance among some of the Jews in Israel.

Here's what Rabbi Jakobovits, Britain's chief rabbi, said of the marketing
and merchandising of the Holocaust:

>From  the Jerusalem Post, Nov. 26, 1987: "An entire industry, with handsome
profits for writers, researchers, filmmakers, monument builders, museum
planners, politicians and even some rabbis and theologians were partners
in this big business industry."

Against this backdrop, one asks: Are Jews like, say, Elie Wiesel and Rabbi
Hier the great moral authorities they pretend to be or do they conceal
something a wee bit more mundane?  Are they and their ilk in fact nothing
more than clever, cunning Shoah merchants flogging their wares in the
marketplace of ideas?  

It's just a question.

(We can still ask such questions, can't we, without fear the Thought
Police might at any moment swoop down on us?)

This admonition for all Jews to hate all Germans appears in Holocaust
survivor and Nobel Peace Prize laureate [1986] Elie Wiesel's book Legends
of Our Time [see: Shocken Books: New York, p. 142].

"Every Jew, somewhere in his being should set apart a zone of
hate--healthy, virile hate--for what the German personifies and for what
what persists in the German.  To do otherwise would be a betrayal of the
dead."

For the "fun" of it, reverse the names German and Jew and then read the result.

Here we have chapter 12 of "How to be a Holocaust Denier and Jew Hater
in 20 easy to follow steps".

This quote is taken out of context, as has been pointed out many times
before. This one shows up here roughly every other month. But each
moron who parades it forth acts like he's discovered this (where did
you read this Mr Slepokura? C'mon, for once in your life tell the
truth, it's always the same damned quote.)

What Wiesel is saying is that when he was a prisoner at Auschwitz he
was so dehumanized he couldn't even hate his captors...he was capable
of no emotion whatsoever as a result of his brutalization, and so were
others around him.

And eventually he realized that to be so dehumanized, so devoid of
emotion from this experience, is a terrible thing, it's not courage or
stoicism as he might've imagined at the time.

And from this he says the above, that it's healthy to hate what the
Nazis were and what they did, that although we're taught that hate is
a negative emotion when you're confronted with that kind of evil to
not hate is to not be human, to lose your humanity.

Feel free to read the chapter in context yourself, it's fairly short
and available at most bookstores (you can resolve this one standing at
the shelf, you need to read about 3 pages previous to the above
quote.) I'm sure most anyone who does (any sane person anyhow) will
agree that the above quote by Mr Slepokura (well, that he copied in
>from  his 20 easy lessons) is purposely misleading and wonder only
about how such a person could quote so blatantly out of context soas
to mislead people in such a vicious way.
