You are correct in stating that ten months ago I ceded to you that maybe
use of my posts would be allowed under fair-use rules.

You will find, in short, that your usage of my materials -- which I have
long since retracted, as being the rantings of a misled youth -- is a
direct violation of U.S. Copyright Law.  

Regardless of what Digital's position may be, in this nation, Digital
does not write or enforce statutory law.  I can take the position that
marijuana use isn't a bad thing, but it is still contrary to the law.

Mr. McVay,  after you have reviewed the legality of the situation
yourself, with more info from the U.S. government found at 
 http://lcweb.loc.gov/copyright/, I do trust you will cease your flag-
rant violation of copyright law, and indeed, the publicly stated wishes
of the legal copyright owner.
