Winnipeg Sun Monday, April 1, 1996 (12) "I must admit I was most fascinated by Joe Lockhart's rather extreme letter where he criticizes a Sun columnist's position that Ernst Zundel deserves to be deported from Canada. I agree with the Sun writer myself, but I have a few questions for Lockhart: 1) A friend of mine is sort of an amateur Second World War historian, and he's missing a few details about what really happened in that German bunker in Berlin, 1945, when the Russian Army was attacking. Who committed suicide first, you or Eva Braun? 2) When you were a youngster, didn't your mother ever tell you: a) It's not nice (and not true) to infer that the Holocaust didn't occur; b) It's not nice to write letters to respectable newspapers when you haven't taken your medication? 3) What's with your organization's name, 'The European Christian Defense League?' Since you're rather obviously some type of white supremacist, why not just drop the Christian pretense and call your group 'The White Supremacist League?' Or better yet, how about 'A Big Bunch of Ignorant Nazis!' It's much easier for everyone to remember, and probably a lot easier for you guys to spell." Rich Lonstrup Brandon, Man. =30=
