Britain and Mad Cow Disease - What are they to do?

Britain announce to the world that they would have to kill and incinerate over 4.7 million cows.
They say that will take about 15 years.

In order to speed up the process, why doesn't the government of Britain ask Poland to allow them
the re-open Auschwitz? 
     Auschwitz and it's physics defying crematoriums can do the job in about 6 months. You
can run the crematoriums 24 hrs a day 7 days a week. No need of repair. Near by farmers can tell
what type of cow is being burned by the colour of flames coming out of the chimney. 
     If you want, they can even make you a leather lamp shade. Or how about a bovine bar of
soap? No problem at Auschwitz.
     Don't worry about all the bones left in huge piles, because at Auschwitz, they have the only
crematoriums in the world that can burn a body right down to ashes. Our ovens require no warm-
up time or cool-down time like those state-of-the-art ones in the nineties.  And if you're worried
about what you will  burn the bodies with, don't fret, we don't need piles of coal or fuel to run our
ovens, but heck, that never stopped us before. 
     If the ovens break-down we will simply dig a big pit and let the cows burn by spontaneous
combustion. No fuel required.

Vision-TV wants to ban anti-gay comments

  Mr. Fraser's letter was leaked in March to Xtra!, Canada's leading gay magazine, which lauded Mr. Fraser's willingness
to take action against "hateful programming."Xtra! also reported that Mr. Fraser's letter contained a promise to help
promote the gay lifestyle on Vision by providing Toronto's homosexual Metropolitan Community Church with $30,000 to
produce six half-hour programs. 
  Last month, Mr. Falwell sent 10,000 letters to his Canadian supporters urging them to write Vision's board of directors
protesting the impending infringement on religious free speech. He also threatened to leave Vision if it changed its ethics
code.
  Mr. Falwell's mailing promoted so many letters to the network (it refused last week to divulge how many) that the board
of directors asked Mr. Fraser to explain the sudden increase in volume. Vision's board includes Walter Pittman, a former
Ontario NDP leader, and Irving Abella, past president of the Canadian Jewish Congress, and husband of feminist Ontario
Appeal Court judge Rosalie Abella, who three months ago penned the decision lowering Ontario's age of consent for anal
sex to 14 from 18.
  Mr. Fraser explained that the letters stemmed from an article published by profamily REAL Women of Canada. He then
dismissed the campaign as orchestrated by a special interest group biased against Homosexuality. Mr. Fraser also denied
that he had promised to change Vision  policy, but insisted Vision should accept only those shows that champion "fairness
and equity,"
while not "curtailing Christian values."
  But Vision spokesman Ellie Skrow confirmed last week that the network is working on  unspecified amendments to its
code. She said only Mr. Fraser could elaborate on what the  changes were, but added that he would not speak to the
media because "he is not anxious to talk about this issue  in any way. "She also confirmed the production deal with
Toronto's Metropolitan  church, but added it had not been finalized.
 Rev. Dick DeWert, senior pastor of Victory Christian Fellowship in Lethbridge, who  last  April  received Canada's
first-ever licence for a Christian television station, says the controversy is  further  proof that Bible-based Christianity is
at risk  on Vision. Changes in the network's structure  last year reduced its dependence on evangelicals. During its first six
years, up to 80% of Vision's  revenue came from airtime purchased by televangelists. Now, the network refuses to accept 
more than half its income from ndependent evangelicals, so, Rev. DeWert says, it does not  have to pay as  much heed to
evangelicals' concerns. 
  He believes the remedy is more  private Christian television licences. "For too long evangelicals have had to buy time on
networks where they've had to face these kinds of ethics codes, "he says.  "We  don't want to be politically correct. We 
want to  be biblically correct."

that Charlie come up to the room with them (R.336). In the room they
drank wine and talked, Morris unbuttoned his shirt to the waist
(R.336). Charlie tried to leave several times, but Morris wouldn't let
him go. (R. 337) Finally Morris proposed that Charlie spend the night
with them (R. 337). Mrs. Dees protested, and put on her robe and
nightgown to go to bed (R.337-338). Soon Charlie and Morris were in the
bed naked, with Maureene in the middle with her gown on (R. 338-339).
Springman and Morris hugged and kissed, and Morris tried to get
Springman to have relations with Maureene, but Springman was physically
unable to because he was not intersted (R.340). In fact, no one made
any effort to have sex with Mrs. Dees during this incident (R.341).
Springman kissed Morris' penis, and in fact, Morris complained that he
bit him and that it hurt (R.340)Morris kissed Springman on his penis
(R.341). After about 30 minutes they all went to sleep (R.342). When
Maureene woke up the next morning, Morris was gone (R. 342), but
Springman was still asleep in the bed. After five or ten minutes Morris

Morris denies parts of this episode, he admits its essential features:

Morris admits that he invited Springman to the room (R.1571); that
Maureene put on a nightgown and robe and got into bed (R.1537); and
that Springman got in the bed naked (R.1590)

G. Morris Step Daughter. Holly Buck, Maureene's daughter by a previous
marriage, is eighteen years old (R.728). She was seven years old when
her mother and Morris married, and she has lived with them in the house
at Mathews from then until the separation (R.728). Holly testified
that, in the summer of 1977, Morris attempted to molest her in the
following incident (R.729): One night Maureene and Morris were sitting

drinking wine and discussing a case Morris was trying. She was with
them. Around eleven or twelve o'clock Maureene went to bed and Holly
stayed up with Morris discussing the case. Morris kept offering Holly
wine, some of which she accepted. At Morris suggestion, they went
outside to the pool, and he suggested that they go for a swim, but
Holly was tired and declined (R.731). She went to her room and then
went into the bathroom. Looking out the window, she saw Morris in the
bushes beside the bathroom window looking in (R.732). Two months later,
she was asleep one night and Morris entered her room from Ellie's room,
through the bathroom. He was in his underwear and he sat on the bed
where Holly was laying on her stomach facing away from the door. He
touched her on the back and woke her up. He told her that he had
brought her a present and he presented her with a vibrator. He plugged
it in for her and said he had brought it to her. He proceeded to rub it
on her back and said, "Let me show you how to use it" (R.733). She said
thats not necessary, but he started to place it between her legs when
