Here we get into not only semantics but also epistemology. If by "science" one means 
the most widely taught "orthodox" science, then science is close to being a mongolian

sickness as if it were a malfunction of a machine, a malfunction that can be

least* one more element on the part of the observer than possesses that which is 
observed.

One can cite more modern atrocities than that. Try reading, for instance, THE FIRE 
THIS TIME by Ramsey Clark, former U.S. Attorney-General, concerning the Gulf War. 
We ruthlessly (and joyously) killed hundreds of thousands. I begin to wonder if the 
Gulf War Syndrome, caused by the pills and shots the American troops were forced to 
take, was a sort of Divine Retribution for an American moral trespass become too

And the other half of your brain on vacation somewhere. What you are saying is 
that the mass media, acting as an entity, would rally to the defense of CNN and 
against the Clinton administration. They would do that because CNN belonged to the 
"Fourth Estate" and as such was untouchable by any political force.

This is a fairly stupid assumption, IMHO. I find it much more likely that the mass 
media would do exactly what they have done innumerable times in the past 
concerning a subject they don't want to publicize: THEY WOULD SAY NOTHING. They 
have been saying nothing about so many things for so very long that I thought 
everyone understood by now that this was a recognized and approved means of 
dealing with a sticky widget on the part of the mass media. CNN, as a minority of 
one in this case, is way out on a cracked limb. Since when did the majority of the

Carl Gustaf Jung, famous philosopher and psychiatrist, proposed an 
acausal connecting principle for events that an observer sees and 
experiences which he or she considers significantly interlinked. He calls 
this principle "synchronicity" because, to the individual observer, it 
explains the often mysterious sequential connection between observed 
events. Such an observed connection can have predictive value and even a 
survival value. It's the type of thought that occurs privately in your 
mind when entering into a dangerous situation, for instance.

The U.S. military caused untold death and destruction not only in Panama 
to arrest Manuel Noriega--who may have been competing with the CIA's 
drug-running program--but also in Iraq where Saddam Hussein tried to 
regain his 19th province taken from Iraq by the British Colonial Office 
in the person of Sir Percy Cox in 1921. We (but not me) have just come 
>from  firing 40-odd cruise missiles at Iraq because Saddam Hussein sided 
with one Kurdish faction *in Iraq* against another Kurdish faction. This 
would be analogous to China firing intercontinental ballistic missiles 
against the United States because the L.A. police tried to break up a

What I see is the countre-ballet of other events which seem to try to 
equalize what are plainly (to me) U.S. Federal moral wrongs of 
world-class dimensions. Wasn't it *after* the Panama caper that a 
devastating hurricane hit Florida? And after the killing fields of Iraq 
we had the Gulf War Syndrome which was caused, appropriately enough, by 
the Pentagon itself through its use of untested drugs on the troops. And 
now hurricane Fran bears down on the southeast coast of the United 
States, promising to wreak far more damage than was done to Iraq by the 
40-odd cruise missiles.

Democrats, Republicans, Zionists, and the whole caboodle may be in deep 
sh*t if finally God is pissed off at us. Would a good speech on the Hill

For a better idea of just what U.S. forces did to Iraq read THE FIRE THIS 
TIME by former U.S. Attorney General Ramsey Clark. This book leaves 
little doubt in the mind of the reader just which country is the 
terrorist.

Seemingly lost to view is a curious juxtaposition of events: (1) the U.S. 
kills 100,000+ Iraqi men, women, and children in "Desert Storm" and then 
thousands of U.S. service men and women begin dying of Gulf War 
Syndrome... caused by the Pentagon's insistence that the troops take 
untried pills and shots, and (2) the great warrior Clinton recently 
orders 40 some-odd cruise missiles launched at Iraq... and very promptly 
thereafter hurricane Fran causes a billion dollars damage to the 
southeast coast of the U.S. Now Clinton seems eager to pursue his 
campaign electioneering in Iraq by further one-sided warfare... while 
hurricane Hortense, incredibly rainy, bears down on the northeast coast
of the U.S. 

Wouldn't it be remarkable if, in seeming answer to further U.S. 
aggression to Iraq, hurricane Hortense were to really clobber the area

Hard to say. But, according to a number of well-written, well-researched, 
copiously annotated books by health professionals, HIV is not the primary 
cause of AIDS. It may not be a cause at all. AIDS is a catch-all 
designation for a number of opportunistic diseases that a person can 
catch (and die from) *when the immune system has collapsed.* Thus, it is 
the collapse of the immune system that should be the primary focus of 
attention. Research has it that the long-term use of drugs, many 
different sorts of drugs, can cause this collapse of the immune system. 
Homosexuals, particularly "fast-track" homosexuals, are often just that,

condoned, and for that reason tend also to take drugs which is also not 
publicly condoned. Some drugs heighten sexual awareness and pleasure,

happens in Africa more than in North America. In any case, the 
introduction of foreign protein matter (semen) into the body is a serious 
matter and will provoke a respo0nse from the immune system. Too much of 
that, in conjunction with other abuses of the immune system, and presto! 
you have "AIDS." 

Read, for instance, AIDS: THE HIV MYTH by Jad Adams, St. Martin's Press, 
1989, ISBN 0-312-02859-8. Also, use your search engine on AIDS, Duesberg,

Although it is unlikely that I will be forgiven by either of you, 
nevertheless I venture to say that NEITHER of you know very much about 
the subject. The United States has about 1/20th of the planet's 
population yet uses about 1/3rd of the planets raw materials. To continue 
doing this it must continually pull rabbits out of hats. In other words, 
it must perform tricks, it must be tricky, specifically the central 
(Federal) government must be tricky... not just with the rest of the 
world, but with its own citizens as well.

It is all about crude oil, fellows. This is an oil-based civilization, 
the United States is an oil-fired nation, so to speak, and we can no 
longer supply ourselves with the national daily consumption of oil from 
the amount of oil extracted from national lands. We MUST import oil. 

But the Federal government doesn't look upon this need as a purely 
commercial necessity. The Federal government, being the mother-case of 
all paranoids, wants to KNOW that it's oil is GUARANTEED, not only as to 
availability but also as to price... low, very low. As a consequence, the 
oil reserves of the Middle East have become, to the Federal mentality, 
AMERICAN oil reserves.

Enter the American military establishment. Its role is to make sure that 
Middle East crude oil really IS American oil. Militarily. Of course, all 
sorts of stories must be told to the Moms and Pas and Joe Six-packs out 
there in TV land in order to try to justify MORALLY what is plainly 
immoral by any objective standard.

To get a better idea as to what is going on, try reading:

	THE FIRE THIS TIME by Ramsey Clark (former U.S. Attorney-General)
	Thunder Mouth's Press, 1992, ISBN 1-56025-047-X.

And this whole affair is not a partisan thing. It is a CIA/Pentagon/
State Department thing. Our "enemies" will eventually include Kuwait and 
Saudi Arabia because we will have to have *their* oil, also, at bargain
