Hahahahahahahahahaah!!!! > Dan Thornsberry **************************************** Okay, we are now offering theories, so I'll offer mine. While it is true that the CIA has had some notable failures in projecting what was going to happen in situations in which it had little or no control, it has had fairly good success in controlling and shaping situations where it decided to exert a real effort. Thus, CIA predictive abilities are slight but CIA formative abilities are substantial. We are all aware that the Big Brother mass media of this country frowns on the candidacy of Pat Buchanan. The CIA as been cultivating its ties with the mass media for decades, and we must assume that the present stance of the mass media has, at least, CIA approval and, at most, CIA active direction and slush funding. This brings us to the most oddball candidate of them all, Steve Forbes. We are told by our friendly mass media that Steve is bankrolling his own campaign, thus he can spend as much as he wants, no limitations. How very convenient! There is another possibility/probability that is only now being discussed. Is Steve really spending his own money on a shot at the presidency with nothing more than the "flat tax" as ammunition? Isn't he a businessman who presumably knows the value of a dollar and the very slim odds he has to become president? Isn't his behaviour a very unlikely scenario? What makes Steve so confident as he pours millions of *his* dollars into a campaign against the well-seasoned political figures about which the public at least has some knowledge? Could it be that Steve is NOT spending his own money at all? Could it be that the funding comes >from the huge (billions of dollars) hidden accounts of the CIA, which organization has been acting as a shadow government for several decades since the assassination of John F. Kennedy? Isn't it likely that the CIA wants to **buy** the presidency in the good old American tradition, rather than be forced to assassinate another *unsuitable* president? So, isn't it likely that Steve Forbes smiles and waves so well because he knows he won't be out of pocket a dime when it's all over? Let's not forget that the Forbes for President thing seemed to leap up like a poisonous toadstool just after Steve fired James Norman, his Editor-in-Chief, for writing an article (finally published by Media Bypass) that uncovered a bucket of worms involving the CIA, GOP big names, treason, drug trafficking, etc. Steve as president will certainly quietly and carefully put the cover back on that bucket, drop it down a deep well, and fill it all in with rocks and gravel. Maybe THAT, and not his crusade for a flat tax, is the true reason for his candidacy. H. Ayre. Buchanan DOES offer solutions. Some people don't like his solutions. That's okay. The candidate that SHOULD come under scrutiny is Steve Forbes who offers practically nothing and is going to spend his own wad promoting that nothing and with virtually no chance to come out on top. Very curious, don't you think? Maybe he really ISN'T spending his own money. I'm sure the CIA has billions of dollars in secret accounts that they would like to use to buy something for their old age... like the U.S. presidency. Lurkers are encouraged to use their search engines to find and read the great quantity of material developed which indicates that some element of the Federal government, itself, is implicated in the commission of the crime. Before Israel was set up as an independent nation (with tentacles into the U.S. Treasury, of course), there were secret bands of heavily armed terrorists, the Irgun and Stern gangs for instance (and note that the word "gangs" is normally used), which committed acts of violence, murder, and terror, not the least of which was the bombing of the King David Hotel in Jerusalem, an act not unlike the bombing of the Murrah building in Oklahoma City, USA. The only reason that the ADL is not *at present* a terrorist organization in the commonly accepted definition of the term is that it can get the FBI to do its terrorizing for it. The only reason why the militias are springing up is because Big Government, guided on many occasions by such organizations as the ADL, is actively taking from Americans their rights as citizens. H. This same process of misapplied credit goes on again and again, the true and original discoverer or inventor rarely getting the benefit of the fame and the monetary rewards of his intellectual work. A prime example is Immanuel Velikovsky, who made seven predictions of major astrophysical conditions soon to be discovered, all seven of them having been subsequently uncovered (if one grants that the atmosphere of Venus represents the *combustion products* of hydrocarbons), whereas he had been branded the charlatan of the century by the establishment science... and remains so branded today. His name was never mentioned when establishment scientists, like hyenas, discovered all over again what Velikovsky had already discovered. H. Ayre. Before Galileo (and after, as we will see) the Pagans, and all of us who came after, believed that it was the sun that moved because, visibly, there was no motion of the earth under their (and our) feet. One could watch the sun rise in the morning and set in the evening, and that was that. The great discovery was nothing more than an intellectual (mental) shifting of frames of reference from the Pagan earth-centered frame of reference to the new intra-solar system scientific frame of reference. In other words, if you place your chair out in space between sun and earth, and fasten it there by some attachments that have never been devised--and never will be--then you would see, that, yes, assuredly the earth does go around the sun and that the earth rotates on its axis as well. From this very special frame of reference it is clear that the sun doesn't "rise" and the sun doesn't "set," that these are only *apparent* motions. But the next time you listen to the TV or radio weather news, do try to listen very carefully at what the announcer says. He or she will say, "...and the sun will RISE this morning at whatever AM and will SET at whatever PM..." All of which indicates that there is a practical Pagan world of daily occurrences, and a myriad of other worlds that have been concocted for our amusement and amazement, these latter being useful on some occasions but certainly not on others.
