Subject: Something the nazis' masters "forgot" to tell them...
Lines: 550

Well, it seems that once again we have an excellent example of how the
nazis' masters lie to their own people. Despite the fact that the Alabama
Declaration was published two and a half months ago, AND that all of the
leaders of the various 'white supremacist' groups were either faxed or
emailed a copy of the Declaration AND that the Declaration was also posted
to all of the nazis' internet newsgroups, it would appear that none of the
current infestation of nazis has ever been allowed to read it. I wonder
if they ever ask themselves *why* their masters wont let them read it?

So, little nazis, here it is so that you can get someone to read it to
you. Remember, this is yet more proof that even a nazi can never, never,
never trust another nazi - especially a nazi leader. It will also remind
you yet again that you must always keep looking over your shoulders, for
Justice is all around you!

PRESS RELEASE 13 September 1996

From: 1st Alabama Cavalry Regiment, Constitutional Militia.

A comprehensive statement of principle on domestic terrorism was released
today by a coalition of constitutional militia groups from all across the
country. Signatures were still pouring in via fax, mail and email and
will be included in the final for-the-record document that will be
forwarded to the Chairman of the Senate Judiciary Committee, Utah Sen.
Orrin Hatch.

The statement, entitled "The Alabama Declaration" after the residence of
its authors and initial signatories, seeks to make plain the opposition of
the constitutional militias to domestic terroism, provides details some of
the known domestic terrorists from the racist fringe, and petitions
Senator Hatch to open hearings on the subject of domestic terrorism and
the militias.

Attached you will find a copy of the cover letter to Sen. Hatch, as well
as the Declaration. Members of the press are directed to Mike
Vanderboegh, 1 ACR, as contact person who can provide both local and
national spokesmen and women for expanatory interviews. The cover letter
to Senator Hatch will not be for release until 12:00 P.M.EDT, 13 September
1996. The Declaration is quotable now. Members of the press who have
already received copies of the declaration are cautioned that the wording
has been subtly changed in a few areas. Please quote from this final
version of the document.

You may contact Mike Vanderboegh via pager (205) 320-4540 or fax (205)
320-2431 after Noon, EDT today.

In a related development, members of the 51st Missouri Militia will be
picketing a Ku Klux Klan and Aryan Nations get-together at Lone Jack,
Missouri, Saturday morning, 14 September 1996. Copies of the 51st
Missouri press release and other contact numbers are available from 1 ACR.

Cover Letter to Sen. Orrin Hatch regarding the Alabama Declaration:

11 September 1996

The Honorable Orrin Hatch
United States Senate
Russell Building, Room 135
1st & C Streets
Washington, D.C.

Dear Senator Hatch,

Attached please find a true copy of "The Alabama Declaration", a
comprehensive statement of principle on domestic terrorism by the
constitutional militias of the United States. Since the Oklahoma City
bombing, so-called militia "experts" have been doing their best to tar our
movement with the broad brush of terrorism and racism, equating us with
the Ku Klux Klan and the neo-Nazi Aryan Nations among others. A
particularly egregious practicioner of this neo-McCarthyism is Morris Dees
of the Southern Poverty Law Center in Montgomery, Alabama, who has been
raising millions of dollars from frightened donors by direct mail
solicitations emblazoned with large red letters: "Militia Terrorist
Update." His own hometown newspaper, the Montgomery Advertiser, has
accused Dees of exploiting the Oklahoma City bombing tragedy by "Marketing
the Militias."

We would not begrudge Mr. Dees his fundraising dollars if his statements
bore any sort of relation to the truth, at least insofar as they relate to
the constitutional militia movement. Unfortunately in the fevered
atmosphere following the Oklahoma City bombing, his inaccurate statements
were passed along to the public by uninformed news outlets as the "gospel
truth" and they inflamed an already volatile situation. It was to be
expected that laws made under such circumstances of semi-hysteria would be
imperfect and threatening to the liberties of innocent American citizens
whose only "crime" was belonging to a "suspect" group or class whose
opinions were not "politically correct." Such we believe was the case
with the original "Terror Bill", and such we believe to be the case today
with the legislation proposed by the Clinton Administration in the wake of
the downing of TWA Flight 800 and the Olympic bombing in Atlanta.

It is perhaps the height of irony that it was members of the Tri-States
Militia of South Dakota who saved Mr. Dees from being targeted by a bomb
crafted by a self-proclaimed "prophet" from Oklahoma named Willie Ray
Lampley. We believe that the Lampley case is but one example of the truly
anti-terrorist nature of the constitutional militia movement. In fact, we
have nothing in common with terrorists, neo-Nazis or racist killers. We
wish to make our position plain with this declaration, and we think it
vital that the nation understands the true nature of domestic terrorism
and terrorists BEFORE more "anti-terrorism" legislation is passed that
will serve to further limit the traditional and natural liberties of
Americans as codified in the Constitution and its Bill of Rights. We ask
that hearings be held by the Senate Judiciary Committee to explore the
relationship between the real domestic terrorists and the militias who
oppose them. As citizens who have been long-slandered as "militia
terrorists", we have been forced to make an in-depth study of the true
nature of the real terrorists. We ask for the opportunity to correct the
record, so that any further "anti-terrorism" action by the Congress may be
guided by facts and not fear. Failing such hearings, the attached
"Alabama Declaration" will document our principles on this subject for

Long before the Declaration of Independence, Benjamin Franklin warned that
"those who give up essential liberty to purchase a little temporary safety
deserve neither liberty nor safety." Today, we are on the brink of
trading many more of our liberties for non-existent safety than Mr.
Franklin ever considered. "Terrorism" is the new bogeyman, and
ever-increasing federal power and surrender of civil liberties is being
marketed as the cure. We believe with Ben Franklin that the country and
its citizens cannot be made safe by such a trade-off. Hearings that
explore the exact nature of domestic terrorism, its proponents and
opponents, would demonstrate this. We await your reply with great

Whereas, a long string of terrorist incidents from Oklahoma City to the
Atlanta Olympics have been blamed (without one shred of proof) on the
constitutional militias by the current federal administration and its
lapdogs in the press; and

Whereas, agents of the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms, Federal
Bureau of Investigation and the U.S. Marshals Service have engaged in what
are arguably "terrorist" operations against the American people at Ruby
Ridge, Idaho, Waco, Texas, and other diverse places without punishment or
meaningful condemnation by their superiors, the Congress or the courts;

Whereas, the bulk of the constitutional militias of the various United
have formed as a grass-roots response to such government-sponsored
as well as the continued degradation of our Constitutional rights at the
of the current federal administration; and

Whereas, agents of the ATF and FBI have engaged in unconstitutional
entrapment under the guise of so-called "sting" operations such as that
against Bob Starr, a militia leader in Georgia, where ATF "confidential
informants" provided the explosives and buried pipe bombs on Starr's
without his knowledge or approval, a "crime" for which Bob Starr
in jail without bond, in vain attempts to tie the constitutional militia
movement to "terrorist" bomb plots; and

Whereas, the Wilburn private investigation of the Oklahoma City bombing
revealed that:
** That incident, which involved the mass murder of at least 168 innocent
Americans, was the result of just such an ATF sting operation gone bad;
** That the ATF (certainly) and the FBI (possibly) had advance knowledge
the bomb plot through the ATF-paid informant and German ex-army officer
Andreas Carl Strassmeir; and
** That the probable bombers, assisted by Timothy McVeigh and Terry
were a mixed bag of neo-Nazis and self-described "Christian Identity"
racists and
anti-semites from Elohim City, Oklahoma, who hope to ignite a civil war
that will destroy the American Republic thus giving way to a Nazi American
Reich; and
** That the ATF, FBI and elements of the Clinton Administration Justice
Department (especially the Oklahoma City prosecutorial team members, past
present), have engaged in a coverup of the identity of "John Doe #2",
Michael Brescia,
Andreas Strassmeir's roommate at Elohim City, thus actively seeking to
prevent the exposure to the American people of the government's prior
knowledge of the conspiracy; and
** That the murders of Arkansas gundealer Bill Mueller and his family as
as the string of bank robberies committed by the "Aryan Republican Army"
links to Michael Brescia and the Oklahoma City bombing conspiracy-- facts
which the FBI investigators have refused to reveal or pursue, apparently
furtherance of the OKC coverup; and

Whereas, in the Oklahoma City bombing and other operations, elements of
various racist, Nazi and antisemitic groups (including Aryan Nations,
Aryan Resistance, the Army of Israel, the National Alliance, adherents of
Louis Beam, and self-described "Christian Identity" Phineas Priesthood
cells), have shown themselves to be willing terrorist footsoldiers of the
advocates of government repression; and
** That the Turner Diaries predict Nazi terrorists winning an American
war that they initiate by provoking government repression of American
gunowners; and
** That Bob Mathews, neo-Nazi "martyr" and founder of Der Buders
Schweigen (The Silent Brotherhood, aka "The Order") issued a "Declaration
War" against the so-called Zionist Occupied Government, Jewish, black,
Hispanic and Asian Americans and white "race traitors" who didn't agree
white supremacist goals and tactics; and
** That as recently as 3 August 1996, Dennis Mahon of the White Aryan
Resistance (a suspect in the Oklahoma City bombing conspiracy) proclaimed
a national radio broadcast that: "that Declaration of War has never been
rescinded."; and
** That the fortunes of the current federal administration have risen,
begininning with the Oklahoma City bombing, in direct proportion to the
number and severity of terrorist incidents; that now, after Dharan, TWA
and Atlanta, Clinton stands at his highest ratings in the polls and seems
be likely to win reelection; and
** That this resurgence of Clinton is celebrated in the neo-Nazi halls
inhabited by William Pierce, Louis Beam and Richard Butler because they
in it the fulfillment of the Turner Diaries' scenario; and
** That while racist and antisemites may spout their hatred by every legal
means, and may
hide even incitement to murder behind our Constitutional shield, they may
kill with impunity their innocent fellow citizens (even small children)
call it "patriotism" and

Whereas, while the white supremacists and the Clinton Administration may
common purpose in the exploitation of terrorism, the American
militia movement spontaneously mustered to combat terrorism from wherever
may appear-- an out-of-control federal bureaucracy or slimy purveyors of
hatred who coldly use mass murder as a tool to destroy our Republic; and

Whereas, when the white supremacists have attempted to infiltrate the
constitutional militia movement they have been singularly unsuccessful;
** That while the constitutional militia movement defends the Nazis' right
hold whatever opinions they wish about other races and religions, we wish
make it plain that we do not hold such opinions, nor do we condone
discrimination and violent acts against others because of their faith or
color of their skin; and
** That the "Christian Identity" movement is comprised of a broad spectrum
adherents and beliefs, and that only a small minority engage in, or
terrorism; and
** That the ranks of the constitutional militas are filled with men and
of all races, creeds, colors and religions; and
** That we condemn racism and bigotry as antithetical to our belief that
are "created equal" as Thomas Jefferson wrote, and are entitled to equal
protection under the law; and
** That, when they are not trying to infiltrate us, the white
private opinions of the Constitutional militia movement is one of hatred
disdain, as journalist Jonathan Karl quoted "Pastor" Richard Butler of the
Aryan Nations: "Richard Butler says he also hates the militia movement.
'They are not for the preservation of the white race, which means they are
line with government policy.  They're actually traitors to the white race;
they seek to integrate with blacks, Jews and others...I think they are a
government-sponsored movement, maybe the CIA...A lot of people are white
the outside but black on the inside with a Jewish brain.'" and

Whereas, the Fourth Estate-- our traditional media of newspapers and
magazines (now joined by television news organizations) which were charged
the Founding Fathers as the watchdogs of liberty, have been unusually
(through sloth or bias) on the brewing scandals of the Clinton
Administration, of which the Oklahoma City bombing conspiracy is but the
egregious example; and

Whereas members of the present Congress have submitted a resolution
purporting to convey "the sense of Congress" that shows no distinction
between the Nazi terrorists and the Constitutional militia movement and
for more repressive legislation to disarm Americans and further proscribe
their fundamental, God-given and Constitutionally-guaranteed liberties;

Whereas, the Republican majority in both the House of Representatives and
Senate have shown themselves unable to resist the blandishments of an
unscrupulous President (bolstered by a lap-dog press) and have concurred
the passage of fundamentally anti-freedom legislation whose stated purpose
"counter-terrorism" but whose main effect will be to strip innocent
of their Constitutional liberties (especially those codified in the
amendments known as the "Bill of Rights"), and to enlarge the powers of
already ominously powerful federal police agencies; and

Whereas, the probable outcome of present trends is a Clinton re-election,
which will likely be followed by an increasing point-counterpoint of
incidents provoking government repressions, "ad infinitum, ad tyrannum";
that this probable downward spiral of violence, unless arrested by the
efforts of all citizens, will lead to the death of our Republic.

1. We will oppose terrorism by every legal means wherever we find it:
within, without or hiding behind the current federal administration.

2. As the current reign of terror has not been curtailed by federal or
law enforcement, and as the present crop of terrorists (who can be
demonstrated to be hiding behind the inaction of the current federal
administration, as in the Oklahoma City bombing investigation) continue to
walk the streets unquestioned and unsought, we pledge to: a.) petition
local and state authorities having jurisdiction to bring these known
malefactors before
recognized grand juries; b.) assist state and local authorities in
suspected criminals before the bar of justice; and c.) shelter any
witnesses who wish to testify against such terrorists but who cannot
great risk to themselves or their families.

3. We do hereby petition the Republican majority in the House and Senate,
especially the Senate Judiciary Committee chaired by Senator Orrin Hatch,
well as Senator Spector's subcommittee, to begin open hearings on the
Oklahoma City bombing conspiracy, it's probable coverup by the Clinton
Administration, and the true nature of the oppositional dynamics between
Constitutional militias and the white supremacist terrorists.

4. We call on all members of the Fourth Estate to investigate the facts
uncovered by the Wilburn private investigation of the Oklahoma City
and to print the truth as they find it, despite the pressure being brought
bear by the White House and the Justice Department to spike the story.

5. As Americans, we have sworn an oath to preserve, protect and defend
Constitution of the United States against ALL enemies foreign and
Terrorists who murder innocent Americans are surely ranked among such
enemies. As the neo-Nazi terrorists have reminded us of their
of War" against all those with whom they disagree (even to the killing of
innocent children), we swear that we will fight such terrorists by every
legal means.
