nationalsozialistischer Toetungsverbrechen 
(Justice and Nazi-Crimes: a collection of German judgements on 
national-socialist capital crimes)
 
NOTE: This collection is a publication of about 600 German post-war 
criminal court decisions. Unlike the well-known publication to the
"Nuremberg trial", they don't record the whole trials including witnesses' 
reports and documents, but only the final decision with the court's
opinion. In German Law those opinions are also a summary of the facts
researched by the court and therefore very helpful for historical research.
Sometimes they include detailed quotations of important documents, e.g.
in the trial against Auschwitz-Doctor Kremer his complete diary. Especially
for the events in smaller concentration camps, those court decisions are
often the only published report.
 
  If you are researching a special concentration camp or a special Nazi
officer, you have to know before at which date there was a decision of a
German court. You can find this sometimes in the footnotes of general
literature upon the topic. Then, try to get the relevant volume listed
beneath. But notice that it's all only in German language (though published
in Amsterdam). 
 
Personal names of the accused persons are often abbreviated in the 
documents. But you can find more information (full names, reports 
about the proceedings of the trial) when you check the German daily news-
papers published in the city where the trial happened at that time. Those
newspapers are usually kept in the State Library of the state capital (e.g.
Bayerische Hauptstaatsbibliothek in Munich for Bavaria), in the next
university library to the court's site, and in the city library of the court.
The volumes "Justiz und NS-Verbrechen" with the official sentences are    
printed in a small amount, it's even in Germany difficult to get them.
But it's worth to try it, if you are looking for very special facts that
were topic of those trials.
