Goering signs an order for the registration of Jewish
property in Sudeten Germany, prior to its seizure. (NCA II, 450)
1942
A German woman who worked to save Jews in Berlin noted in
her diary: "The Jews are disappearing in throngs. Ghastly
rumors are current about the fate of the evacuees -- mass
shootings and death by starvation, tortures, and gassings." (Goldhagen, 105)
1943
The RAF commences two straight weeks of bombing attacks on
Berlin. (USHMM, 1993, p. 52)
